5:00pm – 8.00pm:    Meet The Conservation Teams: BirdWatch Ireland & RSPB staff are on hand to answer your queries and share experiences, Ditchley House.

10:15am – 10:40am:     RSPB Reserves in Northern Ireland – Wonderful places for Nature and People.  By Gregory Woulahan, RSPB Northern Ireland.

11:10am – 11:40am:    Bird Atlas 2007/2011: Motivating the Masses to turn the map red: how volunteer effort was vital. by Dawn Balmer, BTO


11.40am – 12.00 noon    BirdTrack and Spring Alive: the upgrade for your little black notebook, described by Brian Caffrey and Niall Hatch, BirdWatch Ireland.


12.00 noon- 12.20pm    Working for Bird Conservation on the island of Ireland: joint presentation from James Robinson (RSPB NI) and Alan Lauder (BirdWatch Ireland)


12.30pm -1.30pm    Lunch option in the Hotel restaurant or bar; shop and exhibitions open

Field Trips:   

2.00pm – 5.00pm, Saturday     Bird watching trips to Ballycotton, Rostellan and Cuskinny, guided by Cork Branch volunteers and staff. Full details are on the Field Trip Noticeboard and in your conference pack.

Workshops

2.00pm – 4.00pm    BirdWatch Ireland Branch Committees Workshop, facilitated by Niall Hatch & Jamie Durrant, BirdWatch Ireland.



Wings shop the Art & Photographic Exhibition are located in Glandore & Fitzgerald suites in Ditchley House, which is part of the Hotel complex and will be open throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
