Agriculture and Climate Change

Agriculture in Ireland accounts for 34% of Ireland’s overall greenhouse gas emissions. Deep and fast cuts are required to limit global heating to 1.5 degrees but we must also protect agriculture which supports high nature value farmland. We are part of the EUKI-funded project ‘An unavoidable step after Paris: cutting emissions from farming”.
