Our Cavan branch invite you to join them for an outing to Annagh Woods, Ballyconnell *** Be aware the clocks go back on this date *** Autumn is the ideal season for a walk through the forest, and Annagh Wood Forest is the ideal location for it. Be warned that some parts of the path, particularly along the canal side, may be muddy after significant rain. Species frequently spotted in the area include woodland favorites like Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, and Goldcrest, alongside birds of prey such as Buzzards and Sparrowhawks. Our Tolka branch invite you to join them for a visit to Tolka Estuary Greenway The new Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway, a dedicated cycle and pedestrian route along the Northern perimeter of the Port overlooking the Tolka Estuary. The Greenway is a celebration of an area of the Port that has never been accessed by the public before and offers people an exciting new destination to visit. This new destination is also perfect for nature lovers. Visitors can hear calls of a wide variety of migratory birds that call the Port home throughout the year. This includes Brent Geese, Bar-Tailed Godwits, Common Terns and the even rarer Arctic Terns, who have been flying back and forth from the Port to Antarctica for over two decades now.
