Our Mayo branch invite you to join them for this years Dawn Chorus walk
Depending on numbers and abilities we will probably split into groups then take a gentle walk around the grounds listening out for all the bird songs. Non BirdWatch members are welcome.
For this event having the Merlin app on your phone is more useful than binoculars. The walk will usually be about 1.5 – 2 hours. On our return Danny will have the café open for tea, coffee, scones, breakfast baps or a full Irish.
There is no charge for this event but donations to the Mayo branch are gratefully received.
We request that children are accompanied. Please wear appropriate clothing for the forecast weather. The paths are often wet in places so waterproof footwear is recommended. If there is a MetEirean weather warning the event will be cancelled.
