Our West Cork are holding their AGM followed by a talk on Barn Owls by Dr Alan McCarthy.
Alan has a wide range of experiences in ornithological research and conservation in Ireland. He has been assisting with Barn Owl conservation efforts for the last number of years, including nest box and monitoring projects. He is also a trained ‘C’ permit bird ringer.
