Job Summary:

BirdWatch Ireland, on behalf of the Curlew EIP Operational Group (OG), the members of which are BirdWatch Ireland (the Lead Partner), The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association (INHFA), The Irish Grey Partridge Conservation Trust (IGPCT) and Teagasc, is seeking to recruit a suitable person for the position of Curlew Fieldworker for South Lough Corrib.

Salary: This is a fixed-term, full-time contract, with a salary of €25,600 per annum, pro rata. The suitable applicant will be required to provide an average of 35 hours per week. Leave entitlement is 20 days per annum, pro rata, plus statutory holidays.

Duration: March 2023 to August 2023

Closing date for applications: The closing date for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 8th February 2023. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Monday 20th / Tuesday 21st February in the BirdWatch Ireland offices Banagher, Co Offaly. Final arrangements will be made known to interviewees.
