Outing to Loop Head Peninsula

Date: October 4, 2025
Time: 9:30 am
Location: Meet at Kilbaha village
Our Clare branch invite you to join them for a joint outing with our Limerick branch for an outing to Loop Head Peninsula. Loop Head has always been defined by its relationship with the water. It is a haven for birdwatchers, particularly due to its diverse seabird population. The cliffs and surrounding seas are home to species like puffins, guillemots, razorbills, and gannets. The area also attracts rarer birds like choughs and peregrine falcons. In autumn and winter, you can spot Brent Geese and Oyster Catchers.
