Job Summary:
BirdWatch Ireland is seeking a Blanket Bog Restoration Officer, for a part time approximately 20 month fixed term contract, to assist with the delivery of two large infrastructure projects (Pettigo National Nature Reserve in Co Donegal & Fiddandarry in the Ox Mountains, Co Sligo) to restore blanket bog habitats in the North West of Ireland. Additional work at other key sites for breeding waders, such as monitoring of predator fences and breeding wader populations will be required if time permits.
Salary : This is a fixed-term contract with a salary of €215.38/week. The suitable applicant will be required to provide an average of 14 hours per week (728hrs per anum). Leave entitlement is 20 days per annum pro rata plus
statutory holidays.
