Outing to Waterstown Park

Date: October 12, 2025
Time: 10:00 am
Location: Meet in the car park of Waterstown Park, Palmerstown. D20 TR94
Our South Dublin branch invite you to join them for a trip to Waterstown Park, Palmerstown. Just south of Dublin’s famous Strawberry Beds and near Palmerstown village, Waterstown Park was a family farm until the 1980s. The park is covered by the Liffey Valley Special Amenity Area Order and is one of the most ecologically important parks in Dublin. Close to Farmleigh Estate and the Phoenix Park as the crow flies, it consists of eight distinct habitats including woodland, wet grassland and mature hedgerows. The park is home to 300 species of plants, animals, birds and insects. Contact Mary Daly (Sec) 086 1586330 secretary@southdublinbirds.com
