Irish Birds is BirdWatch Ireland’s annual peer-reviewed ornithological journal.
The 2023 issue features papers on the status of Greylag Geese in the Republic of Ireland, national and site-level waterbird trends, the status of birds in Co. Cork and mapping of farmland bird hotspots, as well as on the research highlighted during the eighth Ornithological Research Conference, which was held in University College Cork in March 2023. This issue also includes both the Irish Rare Bird Report and the Irish Ringing Report for 2021.
