PULSAR WILDLIFE ORNI XG35

Optimised for one-handed observation

The Pulsar Wildlife Orni XG35 ushers in a new era for thermal observation. A new, ergonomically considered design places a focus wheel behind the eyepiece, allowing for one-handed operation.

Powerful thermal optics, a built-in laser rangefinder, and a wide range of digital features and functionalities make this thermal imaging monocular perfect for a wide range of applications.

The Orni features:

• Dual battery system with extended battery life for extended periods of observation.
• Next-generation built-in laser rangefinder with a measuring distance of up to 1500m and an accuracy of ±1m.
• Premium image quality and built-in image stabilisation.
• Compact design with rugged magnesium alloy bodyshell. Withstands extreme use in adverse conditions.

SMALL FOOTPRINT, HUGE PERFORMANCE

The Orni may be palm-sized and light as a feather, but it stands shoulder to shoulder with current high-performance entries in the Pulsar Wildlife range.

A highly sensitive 640 × 480, 12µm, <20mK sNETD thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 35mm f/1.0 objective lens, provides remarkable levels of image detail — enabling easy detection and identification at distances reaching up to 1800m.

A wide 12.5° field of view is perfect for searching and scanning, providing a clear view of your surroundings. The 2.5–20× magnification range and 8× digital zoom allow for closer inspection and enhanced identification.

OPTIMISED FOR ONE-HANDED USE

The Orni XG35’s focus wheel is located just in front of the viewfinder, allowing for one-handed focus adjustments and ushering in a new era of single-handed thermal observation.

A four-button arrangement has been ergonomically considered to achieve comfortable operation, offering control over all of the most commonly used digital functions.

An ambidextrous wrist strap and symmetrical bodyshell design enable comfortable left- or right-handed operation.

Haptic feedback provides a short vibration when a button is pressed, confirming or alerting you to button presses.

NEXT-GENERATION BUILT-IN PRECISION LASER RANGEFINDER

A seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder can be found under the objective lens, providing an impressive 1500m distance measuring range with an accuracy of ±1m.

The compact integrated design takes up a fraction of the footprint found on previous LRF-equipped monoculars.

These distance measurements can prove crucial in the field, providing valuable distance data.

OUTSTANDING CLARITY THROUGH ADVANCED IMAGE PROCESSING

The Orni achieves high levels of image clarity through the combination of Pulsar Wildlife’s proprietary advanced image processing algorithms and cutting-edge electronic components.

These technologies boost signal clarity, minimise noise and ensure excellent image quality in every situation.

Advanced video processing algorithms achieve precise object rendering, with important anatomical details captured in exceptional detail.

Image clarity is further improved through optimised image brightness and contrast settings, providing an outstanding viewing experience.

CRYSTAL-CLEAR PICTURE WITH BUILT-IN IMAGE STABILISATION

Digital image stabilisation reduces the effects of camera shake and image blur caused by shaking hands or bumpy terrain.

This enhances image quality when scanning the field of view or observing objects and animals at long range.

RUGGED AND DURABLE DESIGN FOR EVERYDAY USE IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS

The Orni features a rugged design with a durable magnesium alloy bodyshell and is constructed for consistent use in a wide range of conditions.

Whether you are on an expedition in hot, dusty climates or travelling through snow and sub-zero temperatures, this compact monocular is designed to provide consistent performance in demanding environments.

The Orni features an IP67 protection rating, providing protection against heavy rain and extreme humidity. It can remain operational after immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

The IP67 rating also provides protection against dust and contact with objects larger than 1mm.

EXTENDED OBSERVATION WITH PULSAR WILDLIFE’S DUAL-BATTERY SYSTEM

The Orni is equipped with Pulsar Wildlife’s innovative dual-battery system, combining an internal rechargeable battery with a removable, rechargeable APS5 battery.

This provides up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power distribution.

Both batteries display their charge percentage on-screen, allowing for accurate power monitoring.

Each battery can be charged via the USB-C port.
